Director, writer, producer. Angie was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. Before coming to Los Angeles she graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City. Polkovich recently became the FIRST Polish-born person to be accepted into the BAFTA Los Angeles Newcomers Program (2018). She is a member of the longest running private screenwriting group, "Twin Bridges Saloon," where she is currently developing her second feature VERONICA. She also belongs to the female filmmakers groups "CineFemme," "Women in Film” and "Film Fatales." Polkovich's ambition as a filmmaker is to tell stories that cross language and cultural barriers, and portray memorable, complex female characters. Her drama COUSIN premiered at Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival 2017.
