ADAM FERENCY was born on October 5, 1951 in WARSAW. He graduated from the WARSAW Theater School in 1976 and had his debut in Kisielewski’s "Caricature" directed by Gustaw Holoubek at Teatr Dramatyczny. He can boast of numerous outstanding theater and film roles and many of the characters portrayed by him have a dark side. Exactly such a part of the Russian investigator in THE SCOUNDREL (Kanalia) (1990) by Tomasz Wiszniewski brought him the award for the male lead at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. He has collaborated with many outstanding directors, such as Agnieszka Holland, Janusz Zaorski, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Wieslaw Saniewski as well as Andrzej Wajda. Recently he appeared in the Polish-American WARSAW DARK (Izolator) by Christopher Doyle and THE LIMO DRIVER with Christopher Lambert.
