LA-based writer/director, a recent Directing Fellow graduate of the AFI Conservatory, and a member of BAFTA's Newcomers Program. His style tends towards dark psychologies, hypnotic imagery, and themes of exile, obsession and the supernatural. Born in London to nomadic Poles, Paul grew up in the Middle East, North Africa and across America. While studying literature at Brown University, he published a collection of short stories and made his first films.
His DEBUT work, BATTERSEA, featuring London's iconic power station, premiered at the Raindance Film Festival. His other award-winning films include SHADOWS, which STARS Karolina Wydra (TRUE BLOOD, HOUSE). His AFI thesis film, the psychological thriller, BREATHE, STARS Kristof Konrad (HOUSE OF CARDS) and Alicja Bachleda (ONDINE, THE GIRL IS IN TROUBLE, TRADE), and recently won awards at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Derby Film Festival (UK), Sunscreen Film Festival, USA Film Festival, and Cine Gear Film Expo, among others.
