Born in 1964 in Gryfow Slaski. Graduate of the Warsaw State Academy of Drama – 1987 in Acting Department and 1994 in Directing Department . Film debut in 1993. For role of Gerard in The Debt (Dług) won Best Actor Award at the Polish Film Festival Gdynia ’99 and 2000 Eagle Polish Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. For the role of Lucek in The Collector (Komornik) won Best Actor Award at the PFF Gdynia 2005 and 2005 Eagle Polish Film Award.
For his role in In the Name of was awarded Best Actor Award at 2013 Gdynia Film Festival and 2013 Essonne European Film Festival.
